apple need to address the problem of deleting photos from iphoto stream

as the title of the post says this needs addressing, its easy enough from iPad but not at all easy from a mac, disabling iPhoto works but this can't be considered the right way,it needs a delete option, and how do we know if the photos are wiped from the hard drive,I'm reluctant to criticise apple but this should have been addressed before release, come on apple, please sort it out.

To know if it's been wiped from the hard drive is actually quite easy, just do a spotlight search for the filename.....if its still there it will come up if it's gone it won't.

It seems the idea is that photos stay on for 30days or 1,000 photos whichever comes first, dont know what i think about that.
