bluetooth problems

    bluetooth problems

    i can't bluetoooth between my apple devices(4s,ipad2,mbp),apple say you don't need to as you can use other transfer methods,my husbands old sony ericcson phone won't connect either,my 4s says "not supported" i would like to know what devices will connect and transfer data,would you post here if you have had success or problems,up to now the only thing i have had success with connecting is my magic trackpad.

    I don't have an iPhone and I have a first gen iPad and I remember last year going through the same Bluetooth ideas you're going through now. As far I know Apple discourages data transfer between devices. Only input devices can be used and tethering is tolerated. Even Bluetooth printing was neutered. Data has to go by your Mac first... But that was last year...

    right,looks like its still the same,think apple need to relax the rules a bit.

    they never will enable it, they say use icloud or mms or email.. they stubbornly disable it
