    Apple Support Malware

I picked a some Malware that was interfering with normal ops. I went to Bing search for "Malicious Pop Ups Mac" and a screen magically popped up saying, "Apple Support" at the top with a pretty Mac Half Dome picture and a helpful chat box. No, I didn't bite. Happened once more before I was actually able to get to the search. Found some software (inexpensive) on Cnet that cleared it up. Webguard, Sweepr and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. If you are having problems, try looking at these programs. They worked for me and had 4-5 stars on Cnet. Hope this helps someone!

How much does it cost if I want to use Webguard? Can you give me idea? Thank you!

Can anyone tell me if I would have any problems upgrading an iMac (2.8MHz 4Gb RAM) from Mavericks to the latest OS? I have Quark 10, Photoshop 5, Lightroom 5 and Word for Mac 2008 and don't want to spend money upgrading any of these.

Can you please start a new thread in the iMac subforum, rather than adding a question to an unrelated old thread : iMac
