I noticed that when I plugged in my iPad Air to iTunes, the update was showing up as 10.0.1 Guess Apple may already have a fix in place.

It appears that it's only wifi updates that are being problematic....updates via iTunes are apparently unaffected. 10.0.1 is the version showing up now, but I'm not sure if that's always the first version number used (ie is there a 10.0.0 ?)
