    why can i only buy apps in apples app store?

    i decided to buy an app this morning on app miner as it was a bit cheaper but when i clicked on buy it took me to the apple app store where it cost a bit more,i had no option but to buy it there,am i only able to buy apps in the apple app store?

    Yes I believe you can only buy apps from the app store.

    so why are there sites like app miner where apps are cheaper? i don't understand that.

    It looks as appminer is just there to find discounted prices. You might have found a glitch. Is it this way with other sales that are on sale as well?

    only tried app miner,maybe other forum members can tell me if they have used similar sites and got discounted apps

    I have used this type of service, you probably just got a glitch in the system. Reinstall the app, then try again. Keep in mind that sometimes the discounted price is only discounted for a while.

    AppMiner looks to be like AppShopper, which I use and haven't seen the wrong price on its site or app. As others have said it that the AppMiner site didn't update the price of the app before you went to the app store to buy it. That't the only downside to these types of sites/apps, that help you pick apps and tell you prices.
