Angry Birds Seasons Gets Year of the Dragon Update

Rovio has today unleashed a brand new update for the fantastic Angry Birds Seasons game, and it’s all in celebration of the Chinese New Year, which this year is the Year of the Dragon. The new update’s theme features traditional elements of Chinese New Year, such as fireworks, lanterns, Chinese knots and red envelopes, as well as a special Year of the Dragon makeover for the Mighty Eagle. Also, as a gift to fans, the Mighty Dragon will be available for free. And as if that was not enough Chinese New Year excitement, Rovio has also released a brand-new Year of the Dragon animation (see above) and comic. Angry Birds fans in China will also be able to buy limited-edition Year of the Dragon merchandise. Rovio has also announced that when it launches the game in China, it will be partnering with China Mobile, who will publicize it to its partners and its network of 600 million users.
