Apple to Open New Retail Stores in North America, Europe and Australia

AppleInsider reports that Apple is planning to open new retail stores in Stockholm in Sweden, Vancouver in Canada, and South Perth in Australia, and possibly also in Seattle. AppleInsider says that information about the various new retail store projects has been obtained by ifoAppleStore.com, based on job postings and leaks from inside sources. As far as details about the individual stores are concerned, AppleInsider says that news of a forthcoming store in Stockholm, Sweden, was revealed when Apple placed a job posting on its Swedish website. Surprisingly, this would be Apple’s first Scandinavian store.

The Australian store in Perth will be the second store in that city. According to inside sources, it will open possibly as early as this September, and will be located in the suburb of South Perth, just a 10-minute drive from Perth’s other Apple store.

The Vancouver store was revealed as a result of job advertisements on Apple’s website, which also reveal that it will be in the Coquitlam Centre shopping mall. AppleInsider says that this store will be Apple’s most eastern. This store is also expected to open in September.

Finally, AppleInsider says that news of the Seattle store, which will be Apple’s second in that city, comes via inside sources, who say that it will be situated in the Broadacres building in downtown Seattle, close to the famous Pike Place Market.
