Apple’s Eddy Cue gets seat on Ferrari boards of directors

Apple SVP Eddy Cue who is in charge of supervising internet services within the company, has been recently appointed as the newest member in the Ferrari board of directors. Therefore, from now on, Eddy Cue will be one of the people in charge of the prestigious company manufacturer. Cue is also a proud owner of a Ferrari. Chairperson Luca di Montezemolo made the announcement earlier this week:

“I am delighted that Eddy Cue, one of the main driving forces behind Apple’s range of revolutionary products, has now joined our board. His huge experience in the dynamic, innovative world of the Internet will be of great assistance to us.”

Eddy Cue might bring his internet services expertise to Ferrari but so far, his role implies he supervises the way the company is administered.

Eddy Cue is not the only Apple exec that serves on the board of directors for other companies. Steve Jobs was part of the Disney board while the current CEO Tim Cook is part of the Nike board.

Cue seems to be a very busy person. He recently took on more responsibilities at Apple connected with Siri and the Maps app, since the man in charge iOS chief Scott Forstall had to step down from the company.
