Toronto, Canada - Training provider Infinite Skills is now offering a tutorial video course designed to make becoming an iOS Developer easier than it ever has been before. Presented by author Tony Bove, Learning To Build Apps For iPhone and iPad takes viewers through the standard app development cycle using the iOS SDK and Xcode all the way to submission to the App Store.

"The iPad and iPhone have established themselves as the premier mobile platforms for the future," said Colin Boyd, sales director for Infinite Skills. "People want to create apps that are as elegant and useful as the devices themselves, and we're offering the basic building blocks needed to get started."

The course focuses on two central app development projects, so that the viewers can follow along and build the apps themselves, piece by piece. Throughout this hands-on process, author Tony Bove provides relevant technical information and key background details as they directly apply to the tasks being shown. Viewers learn about specific hardware features and limitations of both the iPhone and the iPad, with tips on how to make development decisions accordingly, and learn how to work with the iOS SDK, XCode and the App Store framework to build and release their application to a wide audience. Even basic programming concepts and techniques are included for viewers who have never created their own code.

The iOS App Development Tutorial Video series includes 105 separate lessons, with a total running length of 12.5 hours. In addition to covering the basic steps of creating an app for the iPhone and iPad, it also includes point-by-point tips for animating menus, incorporating iAd banners within an app, personalizing user controls through gestures, troubleshooting bugs and creating Universal apps that can be played across all iOS devices.

"While there are a standard set of options most users expect to find in an iPhone or iPad app, as a developer you'll also want to add your own personal touches," said Chris Johns, content specialist for Infinite Skills. "What's great about this tutorial is that Tony teaches you the skills to do both."

The author of more than a dozen books, Tony Bove has years of experience as a consultant and speaker throughout the technology industry. Bove uses his perspective to help viewers position iOS app creation within a greater context of usability and data accessibility, while maintaining a clear, jargon-free tone developed during years of writing beginner-friendly books, Johns said.

    Pricing and Availability:
Learning to Build Apps for the iPhone and iPad Training can be ordered on a DVD-ROM or as an instant download through the Infinite Skills website. While maintaining a Mac emphasis, the videos can be viewed on both OSX and Windows-based machines. The entire iOS tutorial video course retails for $99.95 (USD) and ships worldwide.

Do you have this title or have you purchased from this company before? $100 is a steep price. I don't mind spending money though as long as I have some kind of indication I will get my moneys worth out of it.
I know you think you understood what you think I said but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Ending Soon! The Ultimate Xcode For iOS Apps Course [Deals]

We’re a few weeks away from the start of a new year, which means the time to adopt new habits is fast approaching. Rather than adopt a new habit, some people learn a new skill – and building apps for the iPhone and iPad is very much in fashion these days. This soon-to-end Cult of Mac Deals offer aims to help you build those apps with the most in-depth and comprehensive Xcode course for complete beginners.

And you can get this course for just $79 — but do it before it’s gone for good!

This course shows you the ins and outs of Xcode and contains valuable information on how to get your app idea to developers and the app store as quickly as possible. You’ll get lifetime access to over 155 lectures and 7 hours of content for $418 off the retail price!

Xcode provides everything developers need to create great apps for Mac, iPhone, and iPad and this course has received great praise for how it has elevated the beginner to a coding machine:

“I have always wanted to learn Xcode. I wish apple would make it easier to use. Instead, Xcode is this convoluted and difficult to use. After taking this course I know more about Xcode. This course will not make you amazing at Xcode but it will help you design apps. I’m not sure if any beginner course can fully teach you how to use Xcode. The teacher knows this and it looks like he has a great idea on how to softly wade people into using Xcode. I enjoyed this course and learning how to use Xcode.” – Lance S.

“So many tech courses out there focus only on the technical. This course was delightful to take because it balanced technical skills with design. I wish there were more courses like this out there. The structure of this course is set up really well because you learn some technical skills and then he talks about why you should be designing the interface a certain way. I recommend this course to anybody who wants to learn Xcode and design at the same time!” – Sandra O.

Here’s what you’ll get with this Cult of Mac Deals offer:
