Need help on macbook pro specs

I bought a macbook pro in january of this year. These are the specs for this computer:

    2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
    4GB of 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM
    750GB 7200-prm
    Intel HD graphics 3000
    AMD Radeon HD 6770M graphics
with 1 BG of GDDR5 memory

I am wondering if I get one of the new macbook pros if it would be worth it. Would I notice a difference in performance for gaming and such. How much better is this new computer. These are the specs:

    2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
    Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
    8GB 1600MHz memory
    750GB 7200-rpm hard drive1
    Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory

If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

In my opinion, the biggest boost you are going to see is the fact that you will be doubling your RAM. In general usage this may very well be noticable...apps might start and quit faster, there may well be less 'wheel spinning' because the hard drive wont be used for shuttling data back and forth quite so much. The other specs are obviously an improvement on what you already have, but they are small step improvements and I doubt you will see changes that you can attribute directly to a better CPU or a better graphics chip. Gaming may be improved. Better frame rates and detail may be achievable, but I doubt the leap is going to be huge.

Personally, if I had just bought a Mac in January, I don't think those spec improvements would encourage me to upgrade.
