AppleTv2
i just bought the appletv2, also just got it cracked. Now is there any EASY way to use this? Ive added xbmc and icefilms and hulu but none of the tv shows seems to work with hulu (i get some ad instead and some box saying choose video quality, then it goes right back to the menu) and same goes for movies on icefilms. I am also trying to connect this appletv to my pc via wifi so any vidoes on my PC i can stream through the appletv.. any help?

I can't help you with a cracked unit but a straight apple tv2 works well with material stored on iTunes. If you have an iPad with remote installed it works even better because you can control playback of movies pictures and videos from you PC, Mac or iPad directly to the tv that's connected to the apple tv2. That is what it was designed for in the first place...

Apple TV is made to work in unison with iTunes. If iTunes is able to play a movie that image will be broadcast to your Apple TV when you ask. Just try to open those movies with iTunes and you'll know. If the movies don't play there are numerous free file translation apps available.

i have a converter, but when ever you covert the file you loose a lot of quality, plus it is a hassle, there has to be some way with xbmc to stream from pc to atv2 just as a mpg/avi file... im trying but not successful

AirPlay which is the communications protocol used by iTunes to send media through to the AppleTV is proprietary to Apple. As far as I know only iTunes can deal with it from a computer and I doubt very much that Apple would license it to third party software developers. Btw iTunes does pretty decent conversions itself...
