    Music automatically plays on computer while navigating Apple TV

    I just installed Apple TV and while navigating the apple TV menu w/ the remote the music on my laptop will automatically play for a couple seconds before it stops.. This is while the laptop is shut. Its almost like the remote is controlling the laptop. Any idea what would be causing this or how to fix it? Thanks..

    Your remote is controlling your laptop!! You need to pair the remote with the Apple TV so it only works with that device. Check out the instructions here :
