WIFI connection
I have just purchased a new iPad.
When trying to connect to WIFI, I simply receive a message that it is not able to connect with the network that is already functioning in the house.
However, the WIFI connection is working as my MacBook Pro is connected to it now.
I have turned the WIFI box on and off; I have turned the WIFI function on and off on the iPad; I have turned the iPad on and off. But all I get is the message 'unable to connect to connect to the WIFI network'
Can you give me some advice.
Many thanks in advance.

That's strange, try holding the power button and home button until it switches off and back on to the apple logo. Ten let go and try it again. If that doesn't work go to settings, general, reset, reset all network settings.

is your network passworded? If it is has an authentication box popped up to enter password?
