ipad2 got quite warm while charging

i just got quite worried,i was playing jenga when i got the battery warning so i connected it to the mains and noticed it got pretty warm,iv never had that before so i stopped playing and left it on charge and it is cooling off now, could it be that some games are more battery intensive and that caused it to heat up?

i followed maries posts,i don't think it is draining but i will keep an eye on it,it cooled off after i stopped playing and just left it charging, maybe jenga is a bit battery hungry.

I played tonight without being connected to the charger and it was fine, maybe being at almost zero battery meant it had to work harder.
