CameraTweak Jailbreak Tweak Greatly Improves The Built-In Camera App

A new jailbreak tweak called “CameraTweak” allows jailbreakers to greatly improve the built-in Camera app.

Once downloaded and installed, the $0.99 package can add a bunch of new features to both the digital camera and video recorder aspects of the application. For the camera aspect, users can add separate focus, timers and composition overlays; frame settings, resolution settings, and frame guides can be added onto the video camera.

As outlined in the jailbreak tweak’s release notes, here’s what you can expect from CameraTweak:

CameraTweak v0.11 tweak enhancements to Apple’s iOS camera app. With CameraTweak deb will add the following enhancements:
For the Photo camera:
Separate Focus and Exposure views
Lapse Timer mode
Timer mode
Composition overlays
For the Video camera:
Separate Focus and Exposure views
Frame rate settings
Resolution settings
Frame Guide
White balance lock for both Photo and Video camera. This will not any entry in the settings. All options are accessed right in the camera interface. This tweak not compatible with iPad.
