    Can't free up space???

    iPhone 5.

Hi all, cannot free up space. Phone keeps crashing. I've deleted safari cookies, 300 pictures, 2 albums, all voicemail and have restarted. Still shows 0 bytes. What can it be?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Are there any videos you could delete or Apps you do not use any more? Some can take a lot of space.

That's the problem. When I do delete them the phone still says 0 bytes.

You could try restoring the phone to factory settings using iTunes, but instead of using a back-up, setting it as a completely new phone. It will take a little time, but you would know exactly what is on the phone, including hopefully some space!

Do you sync your phone with a PC or Mac? If you do, what is iTunes reporting as the amount of used/free space?

On my iPad, doing a backup, reset and restore frees up quite a bit of space. Since the iPhone uses the same IOS, maybe that would work for you. After doing the backup, go into settings/general/reset and this will erase your phone. Then select restore from your backup. Since you've already removed some Apps this should free up quite a bit of storage space. Last time I did this on my iPad I went from less than one GB of free space to close to 6 GB. I like to do this with the iPad connected to my MacBook Air with the cable.

If this makes you nervous, go to an Apple Store and they can talk you through the process.

    How to free up space
In my opinion , i don't suggest the factory setting is a good idea,to be on the safe side, the factory setting can not satisfy our requirements, maybe ,most people think the factory can free up iPhone space , but that's not true,

What is the exact error message says? Usually, the phone won't crash if the space is in short
