    Saving contacts etc

Hello all,About a week ago I had to restore my iPhone because it was jailbroken and had to bring it in to the genius bar. I had contacts on my iPhone that I manually put in. When I went to restore I lost those contacts. What is the best and easiest way to save iPhone contacts, bookmarks etc so I don't lose? If it helps I have a Mac.

Back them up into iTunes. Or you can import them to your SIM card. Hope this helps, let me know if you need clarifacation on anything.

You can also just create a Gmail account and sync your contacts both ways.

You could add all your contacts to Address Book!

I synced contacts and ended up with duplicate contacts.

This does work, however it eliminates your ability to use custom phone labels. Which stinks.....

Hello. I just joined. I have an iMac running 10.6.8 and a MacBook Pro running same. Since the end of MobileMe, can no longer sync and don't want to upgrade to Mountain Lion yet. I have a Time capsule that I use to access files between these computers. I have secure emptied the address book on the MacBook and dragged (copied) the entire address book application to it from the iMac. When I open address book on the MacBook the darn old contact lists are there! Done this 3 times to same result. How can I get the iMac address book into the MacBook?
