    iphone 4 running 5.01.. itunes not detecing OS6

    Hi,

    I just installed the latest itunes, in hopes to upgrade from 5.01 to 6.1. I can do the OTA update to 6.1, but i rather use itunes. However itunes tells me that the latest version is 5.1. If i choose to update, will it go to 5.1 or will it actually install 6.1 as i really want? Why would it not be detecting OS 6.1.
