Fix iPod touch screen

Hey everyone, anyone know how much it generally costs to fix/replace iPod touch 4g screen, just cracked mine!

Well, sort for the bad news..

A small possibility of a warranty, maybe, worth a shot.

Another way,

Either you buy a new screen, or you take it to an Apple store. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar, and if you get someone with a nice mood, they may exchange it for free. If not, i think you can trade yours in+$100 and they'll get you a refurbished one in perfect condition.
Some have said,
"Cracked iPhone 4 glass, when to Apple store, got it exchanged for free.."

Another way as well, put on a screen protector, depending how bad it really is...

Not as great as a way, as some people have said $200+ and up U.S., you can either buy a screen, or get piece a piece os plastic or glass , I know, but depending what you want to spend,
just options here, and replace it yourself... Go to youtube and see all the how-to videos to do it yourself...
It really is not all that hard at all, that id the only way I would personally do it myself...

I just ordered the parts off eBay and will give the DIY approach. Should be great if works out right only costing $21.00.

Yea I did, it does look real easy better then paying someone $100+ to do 5 minutes of work, lol

Well I finally fixed my Ipod touch 4 screen the DIY way, wasn't too bad, however, I did something that messed up my speaker, headphone jack still works though as well as when mounted to a device that's p,ays sound from the connector on bottom. The screen looks just as good as new. Took me about 10 minutes and only cost $15.

Good to hear about it, bad to hear about the speaker though..
Maybe you don't use speaker much, but, I am sure it was a lot cheaper and funner to do it yourself.
