Ipod touch 5.0 update

I recently updated my daughters ipod touch to 5.0, and now she has messaging on her ipod. It's really strange though... Whenever she sends a text, it looks like its sent from my iphone. I guess it's because we share one itunes account. Is there a way to show it sent from her ipod, it shows my iphone-phone number... I dont want here receiving all of my texts! Yikes.

Change her signature setting for her indivuial account from her own phone.



Open up the Settings app on your iOS device

Tap on ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars…’ tab

Tap on the Signature tab

A text box with your default signature will appear. Delete it and enter your own

Tap the ‘Clear’ button in the right-hand corner and enter your new signature into the text box

You have successfully customized your Mail Signature. Now go back into Mail settings to check whether it saves or not. Whenever, you get a new mail message, you’ll see your Custom Signature.

Is not a signature problem... the issues is because you are using the same account as yours on her ipod.

Look at this apple support info and it will explain you how to make it work. Apple IDs and iCloud

My kids, wife and I share the same account to share the apps, however they all have different apple id for the iMessage.
