    iPod 1st Gen (SLOW)

I got lucky and got my hands on a iPod 1st gen for free. I was pretty happy with the PRICE. During restore and setting up I guess I have been spoiled with my i4 and iPad they made me forget how slow the first gens was. Oh well at least no money was spent. I figured I would use it at the gym for music so I was not wagging my i4 around. Fuuny how products change over time with speed increases and faster operations.

Yeah, unfortunately Apple changes every one of their devices each year. So of course its going to be slower!
I wish i could get a old iPod touch, or any iPod just for the gym or exercise!

It is only a 8 gig but I only have like 4 gig of music so plenty of room for now.

Its hard to compare things to the speed of an ipad, smart move using it just for gym.
