WYSIWYG Web site programme
I am looking for a good programme for making websites. It is for a friend of mine and so far she has only made one site, online, on wix.com. So I need something simple for her and it can be paid or free.
I used to use Freeway Pro but there may be something better now.
Any ideas?

I would go with Rapidweaver if they are Mac users. Plenty of themes built in, and a big community supplying themes and addons.

Thanks, they are very much novices and using her mums MacBook for this rather than her windows laptop.....is Rapidweaver suitable for someone who is a bit of a novice?

I would guess it sits in the middle somewhere. You can get sites up and running without too much hassle, but it is a very capable piece of software if they ever want to take things further. There's always iWeb which might suit them even better. I've never used it, but for basic sites I believe it's more than capable.
