iNet Network Troubleshooting and Monitoring
I received my weekly Macworld "Gems" email today and they featured a new network monitoring and troubleshooting app called iNet. I've never found a program that called out everything on my network clearly and/or all in one place and so far I'm pretty impressed with this one. The UI is very Apple-like and intuitive to use.
For $5.99 it really does a nice job showing me everything on my network including our Airport Extreme w/details, Time Capsule, of course our Macs, TiVo's (by name!) and all of the activity and if everything is working properly. I haven't had a chance to do a whole lot with it yet but it looks very promising.
Here's the App Store link.
Macworld gave it a five out of five...and so far I agree...nice!Last edited by richsadams; 11-10-2011 at 01:29 PM.

I downloaded this a few days ago, and whilst I've not really dug into what it is capable of either, it looks like a really polished app. Just having a list of all the devices connected to your network, Macs, Windows PCs, Apple TV, iDevices etc giving their IPs and mac addresses will be really handy if you are having network issues. It also gives info on the ping to each device. However, I get the feeling it's much more capable of so much more.

Just out of interest, I have just done a scan of the wifi network on the Eastcoast train up to Aberdeen. Of the 47 device identified (thought there may be more people connecting), 19 iPhones were listed, 6 iPads and 4 iPods.
