Required to type password on MacBook Pro running El Capitan 10.11.4

I am running OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan on both my iMac and MacBook Pro. However, after leaving my MacBook Pro for a few minutes, I am required to retype my password to get back to the OS. This does not happen on my iMac! I have been searching for a way to turn off this feature on my MacBook Pro to no avail. Does anyone know how to turn off this requirement?

You can go the Privacy and Security settings and choose the length of time after which a password is required. You could make this longer than you currently have set.
