bluetooth on Mac

    bluetooth on Mac

    I've just bought a wireless keyboard and my Mac says it has no bluetooth. Were do I go from here?
    It's a 2006 ish machine using inter dulecore

    You have two choices.

    1) Return the keyboard.

    2) Buy a USB Bluetooth adapter.

    You can find OSX specific adapters on Amazon, Newegg and Buy.com

    If it's a 5 year old iMac then it should have Bluetooth, have you checked that it's not turned off in the settings somewhere?

    I've just looked in about this mac and it says device not found. does that mean no bluetooth un the machine or it cant find it?

    As far as I'm aware, all intel iMacs have Bluetooth, so unless you have a fault it should be there.......have you checked the manual, you can download PDF copies from apple.com support pages?
