    Question Is there a way to have keyboard shortcuts in Lion like in IOS 5?

    I admit i have gotten very spoiled by my iPhone and iPad keyboard shortcuts. I can type 3 letters and make it shortcut to entire paragraphs i commonly write in email responses and such. It saves literally hours of time each day and it is my favorite IOS 5 feature by far. Is there a way to do the same in Lion? All i can find are the normal keyboard key shortcuts but no actual typing shortcuts like on IOS 5. Any ideas?

    Never mind. I figured out how to do it but it only works in the mail app or in ichat. Still a super cool feature!

    Go to: Settings - Keyboard - Keyboard again - then click the input sources button - select the text tab - go to the bottom and hit +. Now you can add any phrase and as long of a paragraph as you want to replace it with. Example: typing the letters tyf = Thank you for your interest in our products.
