feature in Lion
i use chrome on my mbp,does anyone know if the feature where you can slide open windows to left or right in Lion works in chrome?

As of now I don't think there is a chrome extension to enable the two finger swipe between pages.

Please be aware that some software is not compatible with Lion just yet. So if your planning on upgrading check to see if the software that you are using is compatible with Lion.

The Chrome devs have already talked about adding this and fixing stuff for Lion. If you want to test out "dev" software, you can download Canary. It's the "beta" version of Chrome and the features/support for that will be added there first.
It installs alongside Chrome so you can load both and play with both, you can nab it here:
