It's a long way for all those little notification electrons to travel....my guess is they are getting tired and stopping for a rest along the way. Either that, or there is a hole in the wire and they are all falling out!!

guess we will have to check for updates the old fashioned way,before i downloaded m/lion i got a bouncing update icon on my task bar.

Maybe we have lost the bounce lol... I just watched a Macmost video on Notifications and he didn't have the mac app store icon in his list of notifications either. Ermmmm wonder what's going on. Check it out and see if u see anything ...
