App store icon in Notifications

    To get this thread back on track....I've just done a clean install of Mountain Lion on my MacBook Pro and I don't have App Store notifications either....does anyone?

    Yayyyyy ! Jezz mountain lion at last, we are thinking the app store won't show up in Notifications till we get a software update. It's not doing it for app updates. So we are just waiting to see when the first software update happens ??

    Looky here !

    App store icon in Notifications-img_0530.jpgHere is the pic I found as you will notice App Store icon is in the list with the choice of Alerts to set. So I think it should be in out list of Notifications in system pref. I rest my case.....

    I absolutely agree my dear Sherlock , it should be in NC , you can also see it in the 4th picture of ML in the app store ….but it isn't on our computers !

    I guess we have to wait for the next update of ML

    Not even sure how you all arrived at that.
