Nope, does the same on my system. Don't know why, but also don't really understand why it would be a problem?

Sometimes I want to remove 2 or 3 members from a particular mailing and finding them in a group of over 100, that is not alphabetically listed, is time consuming as against finding them in an alphabetical list.

Ah, I see!! Have you tried using Smart Groups? You may have to add some piece of text to the contact card of each recipient to allow you to create the smart group, but all you have to do remove a couple of addresses is edit the smart group to exclude the specific addresses. When you're done, edit the smart group again to how it was, and your group was back where it was.

For example I use Smart Lists to send newsletters to various groups, and simply add text like "List 1" or "List 2" to the Company field of the contact card. You can the build Smart Groups on the basis of the cards containing the required text.
