    screen issues

I've had my mac air for a few years and have had no issues, but just recently my screen keeps minimizing to half size and then going back to full size over and over. I live remote so there is no apple dealer that I can take it to to have it checked. Just looking for an idea of whst might be wrong and if possible a fix that I could?

Can you let us know exactly which model MacBook Air you have please? Is there any pattern to when this screen problem occurs? Does it happen all the time? Just when you start the machine? etc
