Looking to buy a MacBook pro, help please
I am looking at these 2, both used and 2008 tell me what you think:

How long are macs good for? How is the pricing on these?

Sorry for the delayed reply. My MacBookPro is almost three years old. It has been flawless. Not one problem. I still get 3 to 4 hours on the battery while on the Internet. More, if I am not on the net.
I paid just over $2k for mine. I'll purchase another when this one dies.

My macbook pr is two years old and I have not had one single problem with it and IMO its better to get a newer one that will last longer instead of a really old model that might not even load the newer operating system versions properly, maybe not even mountain lion?
I was going to do that for my first mac and get a old model but I got a new one and I was just sorry that I got an low end model and not one with higher specs, but also glad that I never got a mac that was a fw years old to save some $ in case I did not like the mac I thought to myself well if I hate the mac I will just install windows and thats it
