Dead Airport Card?

    Dead Airport Card?

    I was wondering how much it would be to have Geek Squad replace my AIrport card in my late 2008 Macbook Pro

    Well looking at the iFixit teardown (MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Teardown - iFixit), the airport card if well buried under the logic board and other components, so it won't be a quick job. The second question is whether or not replacement cards for a four year old machine are still available....I have no idea I'm afraid. As to Geek Squad costs, well that's a question you will have to ask them directly.

    Yeah, I dont know if they make parts for it anymore. I don't know if an extreme card will work in it either!
