I'm reading that before selling my old Pro I need to wipe everything and reinstall the original OS from the disks, is that correct? it was Lion when I bought it, it's Mavericks now.

YAY....Went to the Authorised Apple retailer in our town (Much better service than the madhouse that is the Apple store) and ordered my MacBook Pro Retina, decided on 13" again, went for the 8GB of memory as with the Retina model it can't be added later as in the older Pro, Best of all for a very small fee (should have been a lot more but they know me) they are going to transfer all my stuff and wipe the old one with a 7 times wipe ready for selling, Big relief that i don't have to do it, When i take home the new one it will be ready to go, Also ordered the Apple Superdrive and Apple care, all in all i got a good deal.

Thanks Scott, The 15" is very nice but a big jump in price, I've been happy with the 13" and couldn't justify spending that much more, Because its thinner it looks a lot smaller but the screen is the same size of course.
