    MacBook A1181 Display Issue

Hi all. Thanks in advance for the help.

I am experiencing issues with my MacBook (late 2006 model) Core 2 Duo- A1181 model. The display was loose from a broken bracket that I thought might be the issue, got a new bracket, and that did not fix the display.

The display is very pale. When it first started happening, I was able to move around the display some, and it would turn back to normal, and then start going back out, several lines at a time, to babasically white.

I ordered this Inverter Board that included the cable: Apple MacBook A1181 LCD Inverter Board w Cable 607 1961 | eBay that I thought might be the problem, but the cord had the wrong connector (to the actual laptop part, underneath the keyboard.) So I tried the new inverter board with my old cable, and now it's totally light. I can't even jiggle it to make it show up. So, my question is: do you think this is an issue with the display cable (like the one I ordered that was wrong). This would be the correct version (the 4 wall): Apple MacBook 13'' A1181 Inverter Connector Cable 4 Wall 922 7612 | eBay. Or do you think it's an issue with the entire display?

    Thank you!

If you've not had a reply, it probably means that there isn't anyone who can give you a reliable suggestion. You are asking a very technical question, and I for one don't know the answer.

    Thanks

Sure, of course, thanks Jezzer, I'm just making sure it's viewable to anyone who might be looking, and know the answer.
