MacBook locked itself
I have an older MacBook (2008). OSX. Yesterday I dug it out. But when I powered it up it went to a lock screen I have not seen before. It wanted me enter the 6 digit key I supposedly used to lock it with. That’s just it I didn’t initiate this. What is going on? How do I unlock it? Or is it now a brick forever?

Looks like you may need to take it to an Apple store to get it unlocked.'Deep Thought' - Mac Mini Late 2018- macOS Catalina (10.15.6)
