My name is Mike and I have been an Apple lover for over 10 years.

The title says it all. I have had a variety of Apple products over the years and I have loved everyone of them! I am an Firefighter/EMT. Other than Apple products, I love retro video games. I particularly like NES. I have tons of games and play them a lot.

    Hi Everybody

Just landed, with the kind assistance of Mike. My ip got listed to STOPFORUMSPAM, as, I'd missed some captcha and security questions to one site. Though, I've requested SFS to withdraw/ delete my ip from their database.

I'm a small apps developer for iPhone, iPad and iPod.

    Hi,
I have been an Apple user since the 84 Big Mac. Now have an iMac. Most use is in iTunes and the internet
browsing. I'm a retired AeroEngineer. Besides computing my hobbies are RCmodel planes, restoring studebakercars,
playing trumpet in a seniors band, and tennis. I hope this forum will help with answers to question on Mac apps.
I'm currently struggling with iMovie 08 even though previous versions were easy.

Hello Steve, an welcome the the forum..

At times this site can be a bit of a mess with lots of questions being asked..

Unfortunaly, I am not out here as much as some of the rest of you guys, and ladies.

We need more people in different time zones to help out.

Plus, not all of us have all the answers all the time to help members, and as a result, I feel members are going elsewhere for help....

Thanx to all who are helping out when needed...

    Scott.

    Newbie to Forum

    HI,

Just got round to joining here although been a Mac user for quite some time.
I use an iMac, iPad and iPhone.
Looking forward to Mountain Lion but my Mac guru suggests waiting two or three months after release before installing it.

    Welcome to the forums HFnotts

There may be a certain amount of wisdom with waiting a while before installing Mountain Lion. Any minor bugs in the first release tend to get ironed out quite quickly, like the issue some are having with MacBook Pro battery life for example, but I don't think ML is particularly problematic.
