Thanks for welcome to us newbies - was using discussions as reference yesterday and wanted to pitch in.

I've been using Macs since 1986 and am on my seventh now - MacBook Pro + iPhone.

Hi everybody. Camel1977 posting for the first time. Found you guys by chance through a google search. Just got my first macbookpro 15" and have already encountered a problem so thought I would get some support. I've had an Iphone from the first and though I do keep a balance of windows and apple products for different reasons I am def leaning to the apple side for all new purchases. Thanks for having me on the site. Now to find the proper place to ask my first question....

    Hello I'm Chauncy!

So I'm here today is because I'm wanting to change what I do in my life. Why cause I always jumped around to new product that hit the market never dedicated to one.
After couple of years down the road having my own place bills and getting hit by the real life open my eye to what I want to do.

So for some reason I love looking at the apple Product. Slik, advanced in Technology, but my parents always got mircosoft product always getting into that. Is The apple product good for programming or anything like that? I really dont know to much beside the History of Apple.

    Welcome to the forums Chauncy

This is a very broad question and difficult to answer. It all depends on what you are wanting to 'program'? I think you need to decide what you want from your Apple products before you purchase any...they are a big capital expense, so do your 'homework' first.

    Newbie

I am a total newbie here when it comes to Apples. My little sis gave me her MacBook to fix so I am looking for help to fix it and learn some new stuff along the way. I am looking forward to the stuff I can learn and find out about apple products.

    Greeting's

Hi good people. I love my macbook pro 17" and feel a bit sorry for it because it's so capable but I'm not!
This beautiful tactile box contain's hundred's of photo's of my nearest and dearest,
over 350 album's, record's my playing, let's me see and talk to people etc etc. truly remarkable.
It let's me know when I'm being stupid and fail's to crash under severe provocation.
I would never have believed that I could become so fond of a piece of technology.
I'm sure a bit of time spent with you all will be a big help with the more unfathomable stuff.
You know, the thing's that make you go 'Doh'.....
    Best Wishes
    Alan
