Hi there,

Just joined this forum. I'm still stuck in the past right now with Windows PCs, but intend my next computer purchase to be an MBP to complement my iPad and iPhone. I'm looking forward to the integration offered by Mountain Lion and iOS6. Right now, I have little to contribute, but once I join the wonderful world of Mac, I look forward to being in the thick of it. Main reason for joining right now is to ensure my user name so I can keep the same one across all three forums, as well as learn a few bits and pieces ready for the transition from Windows.

With that being said, I wonder if the admins would mind changing my user name to what I intended, with a capital "K". Thanks in advance.

After what I saw in BestBuy at the weekend, Ivy, it's the only choice. That thing is a work of art before you even switch it on.

All that remains is to acquire the necessary $$$ to make the switch, and I'll never look at Windows again.

you won't,i could never go back to windows,my pro is just over a year old,the new one looks gorgeous.

Thanks, James. Good to meet you too. I'll no doubt be quite active once I actually lay hands on a Mac. I've been on Windows since 3.1 so I will need quite a bit of detoxing.
