    How's the weather?

I figured I would ask everybody how the weather was in their part of the world out of curiosity.

    I'll start..

Right now, 4:45 a.m. local time, Temp. in F. is 9 degrees, with about 14 inches of snow on the ground
right now. High today was a balmy 25 f. fairly warm for this time of year.

One of our local winter " carnivals " tip up town, it's a ice fishing thing, google it up in Houghton Lake Michigan, U.S.A.
Went well. Snowmobiling was great on the lake, fun was had by all.

I again this year did my usual Polar Bear Dip was't so cold this year either.
If your curious, it's jumping into the hole sawed out thru the lake, with ladder other end...

Like I said, fun was plentiful!!....

Up here near Montréal we've had one of the mildest januaries ever. 3 degrees over normal. Most of the snow we've had just melted off with all the rains that fell. Ski resorts are complaining. Well, they would even with ideal conditions but it's not only them, skiers are complaining too.

In Aberdeen, Scotland, at the moment, and it's overcast, 4 degrees C with a stiff south-easterly (17mph) making it feel more like -1 degrees C

Typical Aberdeen weather at this time of year.

How was it? I have never been to one but would not mind going one day if I could find some one who would go lol.

It is freezing and this morning in cambridge it was snowing.. very light snow but it was there.. too cold! through the whole of xmas it was not bad and now after xmas the freeze settles in.. so we where lucky to have had coldish and not freezing weather most of the winter.

yes we have been lucky but we,re going to get it now,the fair was the usual for winter, not the full compliment of dealers but still good fun, going to the Newark International fair on friday, weather permitting, you should go,even if you're on your own you get chatting to people and soon get to know the dealers and other fair goers, you need fairly deep pockets tho as you will see lots of very tempting things.

my passion is victorian beadwork,i bought 3 things today, one a tea cosy that has lost its insides and the woodwork isn't good but the beadwork is nice so eventually i will work on it,also a lovely piece of a child with a flower in black, white, clear and grey beads, again the wool has had it and a lovely piece that was originally in a tea tray depicting arum lilies, over the years i have collected millions of victorian beads and become good at restoration, hoping to have a better day friday, beware because once you start you can't stop, its an addiction,i also collect antique sewing tools and many many other things.

That sounds nice what you purchased, stunning to look at and you just dont want to leave with out buying it. I cant say i know a lot about it but it does interest me and so far I have just watched on tv. Where do you keep it all? you must have a whole house just for those products ;p

After seing the work you did on the iphone I am sure they end up a lot better. I can imagine just how addictive it can get.
