Being a child of the 70's with an older sister who was really into her 'pop' music, I grew up with the likes of Genesis, Pink Floyd and ELO ringing in my ears. I still love all these bands, and this one by ELO is a particular favourite :
Gotta love the hair and the guy on the horse with his lasso They just don't make 'em like this any more!!
Ah well, what about something a 'little' more up to date. Pink Floyd are probably my favourite band, and I really regret never going to see them live. Some say that the guitar solo in 'Comfortably Numb' off 'The Wall' album is one of David Gilmour's finest, but in my opinion the one at the end of this track, 'High Hopes' from their last studio album (1994), 'The Division Bell', is very much on a par.

You never got to see them, that's a shame, I saw them four or five times, they were fantastic.....the live show is an experience to behold. I also saw Roger Waters on the Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking tour at Earls Court, another great experience.

I have seen all of these players, and more than 3-4 times live for each.....

A very long list indeed...
