Power Mac G4 not starting (no signs of life :( )
My dad picked up a power mac g4 from a house he was working at, and after looking around (after playing around with it of course) i concluded that the problems i discoverd were because of a bad power supply, because of the computers in ability to even attempt to start (When power is plugged in not even a light on the motherboard lights up, nothing. So i orderd a new PSU and just installed it. But theres still the same problem, absolutly no life from the computer. but i feel its something different this time, the PSU happens to have a slightly different main power connection then the other. This one is missing 2 pins at the end of the connection (Not missing as in taken off, as in they were never there to begin with) so im not shur if its that or its just not going to work at all... any sugestions would be good ones, thank you :)

So, what you are saying is that the power connector going to the motherboard is missing two pins? I would suggest that you are correct in your assumption that this is the problem.
